A Brighton Bullfrog at the age of seven, Danielle had to work really hard at swimming and has always been driven by a challenge. She became a distance swimmer as she grew, specializing in the 200 and 500 free, 200 IM, and 200 and 400 free relays. From Silver Circuit, Districts and Regionals to Division I and II and Zones, she did it all! At 14, she was invited to train at Stanford, Texas University and the Air Force Academy, the latter at which she attended training camp for one week. At age 16, she became certified as a coach, starting her journey coaching with a middle school swim team, mainly 11-12 boys and girls. She got married out of high school and became a mama to four children: Elijah, Elianna, Elisha and Ezekiel Athletics is a huge part of who we are as a family.  They live in Arvada where they are active members of the community, including PTSA President at Arvada High and Team Mom to the football team and wrestling squads. Happy for the opportunity to be back at the pool on a regular basis, she joined the North JeffCo Swim Team in 2019. n addition to coaching eight-and-under at Meyers, Danielle also serves as site coach for the Candelas Summer Swim Club.
