Coach Alex started swimming year-round for the Jersey Storm at 11 years old. After moving to South Carolina, he continued his swimming career with Ridge View High School and on Clemson's club team. He started coaching in 2009 for his summer league team and eventually for the YMCA of Columbia Swim Club in 2013. He also helped start a local Masters program for the YMCA, the Soda City Swarm.
Alex is a swim nerd in and out of the pool, enjoying learning, talking, and applying new techniques in the sport. He is a big proponent of building a positive team culture through discussing the mental aspects of training, supporting friendly competition, and keeping the sport fun!
Outside of swimming, Alex likes anything related to fitness and other sports. He played lacrosse throughout middle school & high school and has participated in a variety of obstacle-course races for the past 8 years. He is extremely excited to join SlipStream Aquatics and help the team grow into something even more special! It is his passion to develop kids not just as athletes but as good people!

Coach of the Vampire Squid group for the 2022-2023 season. Bailey
Williamson is a new head coach of the Vampire Squid group and is
very excited to continue coaching swimming and being involved in
the sport she grew up with.
Bailey was a
competitive swimmer from age 10 all the way through college where
she swam at Colorado State University, Go
rams!
She also just recently got her Masters degree in sports administration. Since graduating college she has been teaching at ThunderRidge high school as well as coaching girls swimming, just starting her 5th year there, really enjoying getting to know students outside of the classroom and helping them grow in the sport of swimming and as individuals.
In her free time Bailey loves to ski, hangout with friends and her dog, and loves watching sports. She can’t wait to help more young individuals fall in love with the sport of swimming and help them succeed and grow in all ways possible.
Coach Devin is the Head Coach of the Humboldt Squid group for the 2022-2023 season.
My Name is Devin Nash, I am a Sophomore at Arapahoe Community College.
I first started my swimming career at age five with the Ben Franklin summer team, where I swam for 13 years. Additionally from ages 8 through 13 I swam for the Aqua Wolves year round team.
In 2015 I started working for South Suburban teaching stroke clinics for pre-swimteam kids and teaching swim lessons to non swimmers. My junior year of high school I was lucky enough to have our Head Coach Andy Farner transition to LHS as my swim coach. I qualified for State multiple times during my high school career and was captain my senior year.
I started coaching for Slipstream Aquatics in the 2017-2018 swim season and had a blast doing so. I'm looking forward to another great year on the team and am excited to see the team grow!

Coach Frankie (Francesca) started swimming at age 9 for her summer club Forest Park Blue Fins. After just one season, it was clear that swimming was her passion.

Coach Dena started swimming competitively at the age of 7 in Southern California for the Santa Maria Swim Club. She competed at the Junior and Senior National level and continued on to compete for Oregon State University. She has coached for several clubs teams in California and Portland, Oregon.
Dena has a degree in speech communications and a background in group fitness training. When you don’t find her on the pool deck, you can catch her running around after her two kiddos. She moved to Colorado 5 years ago with her husband and two kids and they love living here!
This is her second year coaching with Slipstream aquatics and she is very excited to teach our younger swimmers the joy in swimming! She believes strongly in well rounded athletes and a positive coaching environment.
