Andrew Farner Head Coach & Owner - Kraken

Level 3 ASCA Certified

I have been swimming and/or coaching for 35 years.  I am thrilled to be accompanied by so many great assistant coaches.  I've coached everything from summer league, club, and high school.  My main goal is to build swimmers belief and confidence while making sure they continually improve as a swimmer.

SlipStream is not your typical USA Swimming club team.  We encourage our athletes to play multiple sports, be involved in extra-curricular activities, etc.  I truly believe and invest in the multi-sport (activty) athlete model.

I am also a proud father of 2 children, a son and a daughter.  SlipStream is also a family to me and I am so blessed to be part of an organization where everyone is welcome regardless of race, age, sex, and identity.  SlipStream is progressive and I firmly believe that we are ahead of the times in terms of how we approach swimming and coaching.

Annastasia Koerner Cuttlefish Coach
Anna (Annastasia) coaches the 10 & Under Elementary Group(s) for SlipStream Aquatics. She joined the Slipstream Aquatics coaching staff in the fall of 2018. Along with SlipStream, she is the Head Coach for the Homestead Farms Tarpons. Anna has coached swimmers preparing for special olympics in the Las Vegas Area.
Originally from Texas, Anna moved to Colorado in 2016. Anna has been involved in swimming since she was six months old! She swam for her first club team, Blue Wave, in the summer after her 6th grade year. She swam competitively for her middle school, and competed as a varsity swimmer all four years of high school. While also swimming club, she made it to the 5A Texas State Meet in 2007 and 2008.
Anna is an alumni of the University of Nevada Las Vegas! She attained her B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in Anthropology.
While not on the pool deck, Anna enjoys spending time with her daughter Cecilia. She still loves swimming, and participated in the Swim Across America Event at Chatfield Reservoir in August of 2018.
Her goal is to have her swimmers become the best possible versions of themselves in and out of the pool!
Devin Nash Squid Coach - Buck

My Name is Devin Nash, I am a Sophomore at Arapahoe Community College.  I first started my swimming career at age five with the Ben Franklin summer team, where I swam for 13 years.  Additionally from ages 8 through 13 I swam for the Aqua Wolves year round team. In 2015 I started working for South Suburban teaching stroke clinics for pre-swimteam kids and teaching swim lessons to non swimmers.  My junior year of high school I was lucky enough to have our Head Coach Andy Farner transition to LHS as my swim coach.  I qualified for State multiple times during my high school career and was captain my senior year.  I started coaching for Slipstream Aquatics in the 2017-2018 swim season and had a blast doing so.  I'm looking forward to another great year on the team and am excited to see the team grow!

Polly Boen Squid Coach - LHS
I have been in the swimming world since I was 10 started off swimming summer club at Bear Creek Swim and Tennis Club then moved on and swam year around for ACES and on to college at the University of Northern Colorado. Best experiences of my life where from when I was in the pool. I have had the pleasure over the last 17 years to coach high school girls from Eaglecrest and have been at Chatfield Senior High School for the last 14 years. Coaching swimmers is now my passion and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have a loving husband that has been by my side through it all even when I'm gone every weekend. I know have 3 kids of my own and love to see them grow and some love it and some don't hahaha. It is such a wonderful thing to watch swimmers transform and improve and excel at the sport I so dearly love. I am excited to be part of this wonderful team and can't wait to see what the future holds.
