Fort Collins Area Swim Team World Class Character through Excellence in Swimming COVID Policies - Fall 2021 - The FAST board approved the following regulations regarding the ongoing COVID pandemic on 8/24/21 This policy is based on dryland practices taking place outside and current conditions in Larimer County. This policy may be revised when weather necessitates dryland moving inside or conditions in Larimer County change. FAST recommends all eligible team members are vaccinated. This past weekend FAST hosted the 12&Under Colorado State Championship meet. First and foremost I would like to thank very volunteer who helped manage the meet this weekend, it take a whole army of parents, swimmers, friends, and coaches to make these things happen, and we could not do any of it without your support! Senior Zones Recap Wednesday Nicole Reynolds kicked off Western Zones for FAST with a lifetime best in the 100 free, finishing 1:01.09. Mishka Little, Renee Trombley, and Josh Goodrich all also picked up lifetime best races, finishing 1:02.61, 1:03.3, and 56.22 respectively. Congratulations to our Team Colorado representatives from FAST! Ella Gaca-Thiele, Gracie Thornton, Brennen ONeil, Danny Rinchiuso, Josh Rogers, and Owen Walsh all qualified and were selected to swim for Team Colorado at the Western Zone Championship in Lewisville, TX in early August. These kids will join the other top 14 and Under swimmers in the State of Colorado to represent Colorado amongst the other Western Zone teams. Congratulations! And Good Luck! Go FAST!

Paralympic Trials Recap Over the last few weeks, FAST has been very fortunate to have several former and current athletes compete on the national stage in a bid to compete at Tokyo at the end of the summer. From June 17-20, Amanda Palyo competed at the University of Minnesota in the Paralympic Trials in an attempt to qualify for the Paralympics. Westside Silver Fin Summer Invite Recap This past weekend FAST flew out to Goodyear, Arizona to compete in the Silver Fin Summer Invite! Friday night was kicked off with a Sectional Qualification by Brennen ONeil in the 400IM! A great way to get the meet started, the energy was high going into Saturday morning Prelims session, where our athletes placed Top 16 to make Finals that night.
