Jon Caswell

Head Coach


Jon comes from T2 Aquatics in Naples , Florida , where he served as an Age Group coach to Paul Yetter, the 2008 USA Olympic Assistant Coach.  Jon was also the Head Coach for the T2 Masters Program. 

Before T2 Aquatics, Jon spent 2 years at Hunterdon County YMCA in Flemington NJ .   While at HCY, he led the senior group back to the YMCA National Championships.  In the season prior to Jonjoining the staff HCY did not send a swimmer, but during his two years there they brought over 15 swimmers to the YMCA National Championships. 

Before NJ, Jon spent 3 years as the Head Coach of the Temple Area Swim Club (TASC) in Texas which finished in the Top 8 of their LSC for all 3 years.  He had 2 swimmers qualify for the USA Junior National Championships and another swimmer set an Texas State Record.  He had 2 swimmers (brother & sister) compete for American Samoa at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2009 World Championships in Rome, Italy. 

Prior to Texas , Jon was the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at Providence College in Rhode Island for 4 years.  While at PC, his teams made the Academic All-American Team all 4 years with an average GPA of 3.21.  While coaching at PC, he also was the Head Coach/Owner of the Providence Aquatic Club.  The club team finished in the Top 6 at the New England Championships for 5 years.  He has coached numerous Rhode Island HS state champions. 

In 1994, Jon was named the Rhode Island Swimmer of the Year, swimming for East Providence HS.  Jon and his wife Christina married in August of 2012.

Lawrence Chan

Assistant Coach


Larry has been an assistant coach for the last three years at CAC.  He has began swimming competitively when he was 9 years old with the Cross Island YMCA Barracudas in New York.  He swam four years in high school, two of which he was captain. Lawrence also swam for all four years at Tufts University with Adam Hoyt and became an all-conference breastroker and captain his senior year. Lawrence has previously coached three summers at USSC swim camps run by Ron Good.


Pam Dolan

Assistant Coach


Pam is beginning her second year with CAC. She previously served as Assistant Coach of the Mystic YMCA Hammerheads for 4 years.  She specializes in working with Age Group swimmers.  She loves sharing her enthusiasm for athletics in general and swimming in particular, helping young kids develop talent, technique, and sportsmanship both in and out of the pool.

A lifelong swimmer, Pam started at the age of eight and has always swum on community teams.  She played varsity basketball, field hockey, and softball in high school, ran cross-country for The College of William and Mary.  After college, she continued swimming on masters's teams in Fairfax, VA, Portland, OR, and Mystic, CT.  She now competes in triathlons and open-water swims, as well as ultra-marathon distance running events.

Pam lives in Mystic, CT with her husband and three children, all of whom swim for CAC.
