Forms that you may need:

Application for Sanction (this is for pool-based meets; an OW event has its own application). In order to properly advertise your event, you should apply for a sanction at least two months in advance of the planned event date.

USMS membership application in the CT LMSC.

One-event registration form, if you plan on allowing this at your event.

Meet financial report form to be filed within 30 days of the conclusion of your meet.

Pool length measurement form, including instructions. The lengths of all pools whose lengths have been certified and already are in the national database (Excel file, one worksheet for each course).

Split request form, to be submitted by the swimmer at the meet.

Record application form for national (USMS) and world (FINA) records.

Official card for relay entries.

Online version of the USMS Rule Book. You should have at least one hardcopy of the current Rule Book at the meet.

Current HyTek records files for national and world records. The first link also gives instructions for importing them into Meet Manager, which can also print out pre-filled Record Application forms when a record has been broken.

Club Assistant website. Allowing online registration for your event is strongly encouraged since it will usually increase participation, as well as offer greater convenience to participants and decrease errors in processing and posting meet results.

CT LMSC upcoming events calendar. You should not plan your event to be too close to another event in our LMSC. You should also consider the timing of big events in neighboring LMSCs.

USMS events calendar. Once the sanction has been granted, you should submit it to the USMS calendar.
