I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone in our Pisces family a Happy and Healthy 2020!

As we enter into this new year I want share some news and changes with our team's Board of Directors.   After 10 years of service on the Pisces Board (including 8 years as our President) Michael Redgate has stepped down from his post.  Michael has been one of the biggest Pisces supporters and a significant reason our program has thrived for the past decade.  He coined and truly embodies the phrase PISCES PRIDE!   Michael truly did not want to resign his seat however in accordance with our team bylaws each board member must have a registered swimmer on the roster.    Michael will still be heavily involved with Trumbull Swimming as he is staying on the Pisces Board to provide continuity as an ex-officio member.   He is also still an active member of the Aquatics Facility Building Committee working to bring a new pool into the Town of Trumbull.   I would like to personally thank Michael for his years of service and everything he has done for our Pisces family.

As Michael's Vice President for the past six years I am honored that the board has voted me as the new President of the Board of Directors for the Trumbull Pisces.  My daughters have been swimming for the Trumbull Pisces since 2012 and I look forward to working with the Board and Coach Bill to continue our traditions and keeping the Pisces as one of the top swim programs in the state of Connecticut.   I will continue to lean on Michael for his knowledge and experience particularly when it come to our engagements with town hall.  Taking over as our Vice President and head of Fundraising is Adam Reynolds.  Our team Treasurer continues to be Ariel Berezowski along with our Team Secretary Monica Terry and Marc Kosak who manages the Pisces Store.  We have two new Board member this season with Laura Citarella and Dana Yaman leading our Concessions and Social Committee.

Later this Spring, there are 3 Board seats that are up for re-election.  We generally hold our team elections around the beginning of Long Course season.   If you are curious at all about getting involved with the Pisces Board please feel free to contact me directly.  Our Board meetings are generally held on the First Thursday of each month at the Hillcrest cafeteria with the first 30 minutes open for parent comments and participation.  We are a team run by a great group of volunteers and we're always looking for anyone who wants to dive in and help out in many different ways.

See you at the pool!
