Thank you for inquiring about the WHAT Swimming. This organization consists of DEDICATED swimmers, coaches and parents. This program promotes the education of sport for the individual swimmer in the following four areas: physical, intellectual, psychological and social development.
The coaches believe in developing the “whole” swimmer. Returning to the basics is the foundation to becoming a successful swimmer. This consists of not only training physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. It is a partnership between swimmer, coach and parents. The coaches firmly believe that team strength comes from raising the standards of all people involved in the program.
The coaches believe that all swimmers must invest their time and effort into the sport. Consistent and persistent effort by the athletes is a prerequisite for achieving anything worthwhile in swimming. It is important that all swimmers on the team know that can be winners by setting goals and striving to achieve them.
Responsibility is required and the coaches believe that each person has the ability to choose. The swimmers and parents who choose to be part of this team must accept the responsibilities of their choice.
