 Indiana Swimming – Virtual Athlete Meet & Greet with USA Swimming National Team Athletes: Annie Lazor & Zach Apple : Monday, December 7 th from 8-9 pm ET.

9 Indiana Swimming Clubs Awarded Club Excellence Recognition
Congratulations to Carmel Swim Club (Gold Medal Club), Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (Silver Medal Club), Fort Wayne Swim Team (Silver Medal Club), Irish Aquatics (Bronze Medal Club), Zionsville Swim Club (Bronze Medal Club), Munster Swim Club (Bronze Medal Club), Summit City Aquatics,(Bronze Medal Club), Northridge Area Swim Association (Bronze Medal Club), Franklin Regional Swim Team (Bronze Medal Club),
 
*Carmel Swim Club was one of Nine Clubs in USA Swimming who were recognized as a Podium Club for 2021 for achieving a Gold Medal ranking for four consecutive years.

The Club Excellence Program is a voluntary program that identifies and recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to performance excellence.

This program strives to meet the following objectives:

  • Promote the development of strong, well-rounded age group and senior swimming programs that produce elite 18 & under athletes;
  • Provide recognition and resources to motivate and assist member clubs to strive for the highest ideals of athlete performance.
  • The program provides grant funding and recognizes the club development system as integral to achieving excellence in the sport.

3 New Indiana Teams Recognized at Safe Sport Certified Clubs
Congratulations to the Capitol Aquatics, Greater Evansville & Carmel Swim Club for being recognized as Safe Sport Certified Clubs.

2021 Indiana Swimming Winter/Spring Internship Application 

Indiana Swimming will again be offering internship opportunities during the Spring semester of 2021 for qualified students. Indiana Swimming internships are open to any student who has recently graduated from an accredited college or university or any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university.  More details regarding how to apply for the 2021 Indiana Swimming Spring Internship Program will be sent via email early next week.

Virtual IM/Distance Challenge
Indiana Swimming wants to identify the state's top swimmers in long events, build the pipeline to national qualifiers & create "Pride" in IM & Distance Swimming!
 
How It Works: From: December 11th 2020 through January 10 th  2021 any swimmer who swims in a sanctioned or unsanctioned setting may send in their 1000 & 1650 and 400 IM times to be ranked in the Virtual IM/Distance Challenge.   Want to Learn More? Click Here  Virtual IM Distance Information Page
