Return to Practice - June 10, 2020 USA Swimming re-opening guidelines and pool spacing diagrams were reviewed with epidemiologists from the Minnesota Department of Health. The 6-foot spacing is considered acceptable for multiple athletes per lane following those guidelines. Your updated facility plans may include these revised numbers and diagrams must be agreed to by your facility owner/operator. This can be started under the Phase 3 reopening beginning June 10th. 2020 Central Zone Diversity Select Camp Participant Profiles In 2020, eight #MNswim athletes were chosen to participate in the Central Zone Diversity Select Camp in its online format. Update to the MDH Guidance for Social Distancing in Youth Sports and MN’s “Stay Safe MN” Plan Following sessions with the State of Minnesota Governor’s Cabinet, the MN Department of Health (MDH) released updated documents to address the return of “Organized Youth Sports” in Minnesota. Summer Championship Series Cancellation Due to COVID-19 uncertainty the Minnesota Swimming LSC Board of Directors has canceled the 2020 Summer Championship Series. This includes the Minnesota Achievement Championships, the Minnesota Regional Championships, the 14&U State Championship, the Senior State Championship, and the Open Water State Championship.
