Sport Development Director Welcome Announcement

MN Swimming is proud to announce the hiring of our Sport Development Director, John Bradley! John comes to the MN Swimming staff by way of Rochester Swim Club, where he served as Head Coach/Head Senior Coach since 2008 leading his club to two senior state titles, one combined team state title, 10+ state records and multiple NAG rankings. Prior to his time in Rochester, MN, John spent 16 seasons coaching club swimming in Wisconsin, being named top Age Group coach in the state in 2005 and 2006 while coaching his swimmers to 15+ state records and four Age Group State titles. He has been both a Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Team Minnesota, plus led on the dry side as a club Administrative Head Coach and Central Zone Meet Director.

John currently serves on the USA Swimming Board of Directors and has been a member of several national task forces and committees. He has also served extensively on the MN Swimming Board, chairing the Technical Planning, Senior, and most recently, Age Group committee. As he begins work as the Sport Development Director he is stepping aside as the Age Group Vice Chair.

In this new role, he will support our members in providing leadership and direction to enhance and optimize athlete performance, coach effectiveness, and club development. In conjunction with our Board and Executive Director, John’s goals will include delivering and executing LSC programming that continuously improves our members’ ability to achieve their highest levels of success in the sport of swimming.
