Meet Procedures:

  1. Each team will have a designated seating area per the COVID meet rules.
    - CW = Wooden Stands
    -

  2. For warm-up, lanes are limited to 10 swimmers per lane. Teams were sent warm-up/down lane assignments.

  3. Swimmers are encouraged to bring a Ziplock bag or container to hold their mask when warming up. Swimmers MUST leave their mask on until they enter the water, and MUST immediately put the mask on upon exiting.

  4. Sprint lanes for warm-ups will be the Odd numbered lanes. Swimmers should slide into an Even number lane to swim back and retrieve their mask.

  5. During the course of the meet, swimmers need to remain in your team area unless warming up, warming down, or racing.

  6. Swimmers should wait to head to the block to 1-2 heats prior to their heat. Only the next immediate heat should be behind the blocks. We will go slow. We will NOT start a heat if someone is missing unless confirmed with you that they are not there.

  7. Swimmers should only remove their mask once the previous heat nears conclusion. Swimmers can put their mask on the block, on the extra chair, or inside of their bag/container.

  8. At the conclusion of the race, swimmers shall stay in the water until directed. Once given the go ahead to hop out, swimmers should mask-up and immediately leave the area. Swimmers in 50-meter events, will walk back to the starting block to retrieve their mask.

  9. Once the previous heat has cleared the area, the next heat will be directed to step forward.

  10. Swimmers talking to their coach after a race should remain masked and socially distant from the coach.

  11. Swimmers warming down are to wear a mask until they get in. Warm-down lanes are limited to 10 swimmers per lane. Teams have been assigned a set of warm-down lanes.

  12. When swimmers have completed their events/warm-down, they should immediately gather their belongings and leave through the doors by the scoreboard. Swimmers should not stay any longer than necessary. SWIMMERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THE LOCKER ROOMS TO CHANGE BEFORE LEAVING.
