Statement for the NDLSC

To the NDLSC and all participants and spectators who were in attendance at the 2019 North Dakota State Short Course Championships, March 15-17, 2019, please see the below message and links that we have received in regards to medical attention that may have been needed in relation to the Hulbert Aquatic Center's mechanical failure of the air exchange system this past weekend.

Thank you,

Bret Haglund

NDLSC Administrative Vice-Chair

Any USA Swimming member that needed medical attention should have an individual report of occurrence filled out at An official, host club or member club should fill out the form. Mary Sorg at K&K Insurance will be handling those files. We have $25,000 of excess accident medical insurance to cover what the primary medical insurance does not cover such as deductibles or copayments. The attached insurance form should be sent directly to K&K Insurance at the email, fax or address shown at the top of the form.

Any parents or members of the public that had to have medical treatment should have their names, address, phone numbers and emails provided to me to report to K&K Insurance. Don Knispel at K&K Insurance can handle those claims. We have $5,000 medical payments, per individual, which is no fault insurance and can be used to pay any bills their primary medical insurance does not pay.
