Open Water Swimming at the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex

Open Water Course: Swims on our open water course are offered Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings from Memorial Day-Labor Day on Lake Andrea. We are located at 9900 Terwall Terrace Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158


Fees 

  • Drop In: $10 / $15
  • 5 Swims: $45 / $67.50 (Expires at the end of the summer, no refunds)
  • 10 Swims: $85 / $127.50  (Expires at the end of the summer, no refunds)

Beach Rules

  • Please practice social distancing and stay 6 ft from those not in your household.
  • The Wibit is unavailable at this time.
  • No alcohol on the beach.
  • No glass may be brought into the beach.

Prairie Springs Park Offers

  • Lake Andrea opportunities include fishing, swimming at Lake Andrea Beach, wind surfing, sailing, and boating (kayak and canoe rentals available at Lake Andrea beach).
  • Boat landing is available with no gas powered boats allowed; electric trolling motors only.To put any boat in the water, a DNR watercraft license is needed. Small watercraft may launch from the public ramp at no charge. Those launching small watercraft from Picnic Area #2 and windsurfers launching from Picnic Area #6 must purchase a daily or seasonal Prairie Springs pass or be a RecPlex member.
  • A 2.3 mile asphalt walking/jogging trail is around Lake Andrea.
  • Two children's tot lot playgrounds
  • Archery range (free and open to the public)
  • Nature trails
  • Sand volleyball pits
  • Restrooms at the ball field pavilion and the Wruck Pavilion (only open during summer season).
