To all CSSC families,

With mandates that came out today from many state and local government officials, we are following orders and, effective today, Monday, March 16, we will be canceling  all practices until May 11th in accordance with CDC recommentations. When circumstances change, we will resume practices and inform you immediately.

We know the last few weeks have been uncertain and confusing. I will be asking the coaches to write workouts and send them to you so the kids can do it on their own, if they wish.

We will continue to stay in touch and post information as frequently as possible.

It is in times of crisis and stress that we often discover the strongest version of ourselves, and we know that we will all come back stronger than ever.

I appreciate all of you. Please stay safe.

Coral Springs, FL – The City of Coral Springs remains under a State of Emergency and the safety of our residents is our greatest priority. As per the CDC’s guidance regarding large events and mass gatherings, we will be suspending all city events and programming that consist of 50 people or more, or have the potential to have more than 50 people, for the next eight weeks.
The city was notified that Cleveland Clinic, located at Sawgrass and University Drive, will serve as a drive through testing location for the flu and COVID-19 virus. Currently, we do not have complete details about when or how the site will function but are working with their administration to keep our residents and first-responders informed.

Environmental cleaning and disinfection recommendations:
Water Transmission and COVID-19:
Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools and hot tubs?

There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.
