Coral Springs Swim Club was well represented during the recent Jesse Vassallo Invitational, held at the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center. Over 50 age group swimmers who train at the Aquatic Complex as well as the swimmers that train at Mullins Park Pool competed in the three-day event.  The long meet proved successful for CSSC, as the team had numerous swimmers place high in multiple events, as well as four swimmers earning individual high point awards for the meet. This past Saturday, April 6th, Coral Springs Swim Club families came together to support, bring awareness, and help fundraisign efforts for the 2019 Relay for Life Parkland and Coral Springs. 34 swim teams from our division gathered at Coral Springs Aquatic Complex over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend in order to participate in 2019’s Florida Gold Coast Junior Olympics. The three day event was a great success. Coral Springs Swim Club 11-12 Girls dominated the other 23 teams competing in their age group.This group consisted of Nicole Creed, Samantha Schoenborn, Carolyn Powell, Selah Rogers, Brittany Bean, and Mariana Montes. March 2-3rd was the highly anticipated FGC North BB Championships. This newly- formed Championships, hosted by the Lake Lytal Swim Team, was the perfect opportunity for Coral Springs Swim Club swimmers to showcase their hard-work during practice and dedication to the sport by showing up and giving it their all and they did not disappoint. The Sunrise Invitational, held September 22nd and 23rd, was the third Swim Meet in which Coral Springs Swim Club competed in in three weeks.
