Bruno Darzi Head Coach

Head Coach

During his 20-year coaching career, the Olympic-caliber coach has coached several Olympic swimmers including five-time Olympian Dara Torres and three-time Olympians Vlad Polyakov and Arlene Semeco and senior, junior and collegiate swimmers.

An American Swimming Coaches Association Level 5 coach, the highest rating for club coaches, Darzi was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was a national-caliber swimmer before
becoming a coach. He was mentored and worked closely with six-time Olympic coach Michael Lohberg, one of the world’s most well-respected coaches.

He graduated from UFRJ, one of the top institutions in Brazil with Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education (Kinesiology) in 2001 and has extensive knowledge in training science, lactate testing, advanced stroke technique and the latest in swimming technology. During his coaching tenure as Head Age Group Coach, CSSC had several swimmers ranked nationally in the Top 10 and set Florida Gold Coast and club records. He is a five-time Florida Gold Coast All-Star coach and five-time member of the Southern Zone Team coaching staff.

Coach Darzi holds a Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM). He earned both Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist training certifications. 

Coach Darzi had been a member of the Board of Directors from the Florida Gold Coast since 2015.

Raphael Lima Senior 1 & 2 Coach

Senior I & II Coach 

Raphael Lima has a Masters in Sports Science at University of Campinas He earned his Major in Physical Education at Metropolitan University.

Coach Raphael Lima has been coaching for more than fifteen years building a unique reputation in North and South America. He has coached swimmers from all ages and levels, nationally and internationally.

As a swimmer, Raphael was a member of the Brazilian National Team participating at FINA World and South American Championships. Coach Lima has also participated at some Masters World, Pan American and National Championships where he has placed all the way from making finals to gold medal.

Jessica Long Mullins Head Coach

Mullins Pool Head Coach

Jessica is originally from New Hampshire and moved down to South Florida in 2005.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Outdoor Recreation from Plymouth State University in N.H. Jessica has been certified through the American Red Cross as Swimming/Life guarding Instructor, and has acquired years of experience coaching and teaching all levels of swimming from beginner to competitive.

Bar Bogoslavsky Mullins Assistant Coach

Mullins Assistant Coach

Bar has been a member of the Coral Springs Swim Club since she was a 7th grader. She developed her skills and technique while having fun swimming through our program. Under the guidance of Coach Darzi, as a coach now, Bar hopes to encourage new swimmers to have fun and become great athletes. Coach Bogoslavsky earned her major in Business from the Florida Atlantic Univeristy.


Guy Bogoslavsky Aqua Group Coach

Guy Bogoslavsky is a former Coral Springs Swim Club swimmer.

He graduated high school from Marjory Stoneman Douglas and is currently enrolled at Florida Atlantic University studying Finance.

He started swimming at an early age at the Swim America Program. He then moved through our program before reaching the senior group. He qualified for States in 2016 and 2017 and was a co-captain. He hopes to help the swimmers develop their skills and become better athletes.

Brittany Bellomo Silver Group Coach

Silver Group Coach 

Coach Brittany earned her Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida as well as received her EPI certificate from Broward College.

She is currently a 7th grade ELA teacher at Coral Springs Charter School, and also coaches Pre Team for Swim America.

She is a former swimmer (backstroker) and actually swam for the Coral Springs Swim Club for over a decade as well as two years in D1 swimming in college (FGCU). She holds certifications in CPR, AED, First Aid and WSI. 

Caroline Kuczynski White and Blue Group Coach

White & Blue Group Coach 

A former swimminer of Coral Springs Swim Club from 1997-2013. Her strengths were butterfly, freestyle and IM, and she still holds many CSSC team records.

She earned a psychology degree from Arizona State University. Qualified to the NCAA championships in 2011-2013. An automatic All-American settting many relay school records.

As a member of the Canadian National Team, she attended World University Games in Shenzhen, China in 2011. In 2012, Caroline placed 3rd at the Canadian Olympic Trials in the 100-meter butterfly. Extremely excited to step back on the pool deck at her home pool to help inspire, motivate, and develop swimmers to achieve their biggest goals - in and out of the water.

Laura Azevedo Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant

Laura has been a member of the CSSC family for over 20 years. She graduated from FIU with a BS in Nutrition and earned a minor in psychology. Laura is Swim America Site Supervisor and Instructor as well as a Gold card holder with over 1000 hours of teaching experience. 

As an athlete, Laura was highly decorated. She is a 6-time European Championships finalist, 10-time South American medalist as well as a 23-time at Brazilian Championships medalist.

Currently, Laura assists the CSSC Board of Directors and Coaching Staff with administrative responsibilities such as escrow account billing and USA Swimming registrations.
