Bolles Campus Closed to Support COVID-19 Prevention

The Bolles Campus will be closed effective March 14th through Sunday, April 5th with normal operations set to resume on Monday April 6th.  The school will be monitoring and re-evaluating the situation throughout this time and further action will be taken as necessary.  We as a program support the leadership of the school in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing and minimizing contact that could transfer the virus.  I will attempt to give you an additional overview of our plans for this closure here, and we plan to keep you updated and connected remotely as much as possible.

Practices on Campus

All athletic activities on campus are cancelled and will not be allowed until the school re-opens campus.  Coaches will not be permitted to hold formal or informal practices on campus or at other locations.  We do plan to connect with our student-athletes and families following these guidelines:

We will not be entering any competitions in the next 30 days, with the Bolles 50 event in April being the next possible competition on our calendar.  We will be evaluating the safety and availability of that meet over the next weeks and will update you as needed.  As we approach a return to programming, we will communicate any adjustments to the competition calendar for the remainder of the summer Long Course season.

I know you have been absorbing a lot of communication lately and we appreciate your patience and support of our program through this time.   Our foremost priority is the safety of our community.  We remain committed to our mission of developing excellent people beyond the pool and for long term success in our sport.  The changes in the athletics world over the past 48 hours have been unprecedented and will leave many with questions.  Rest assured, our program will recover from this and our coaches are already planning to use this time to develop themselves and the program to be better than it is today.  We are mindful of your immediate concerns for the development of your student-athletes, we are also thankful for the opportunity to work with all of our student-athletes and families.

Thank you again, we will be in touch and look forward to staying connecting in this time of being apart.  Please be safe and be leaders in your communities as we work through this!

Go Bolles!
