Group Swim Lessons 2023:
GROUP LESSONS COST: $150
EACH SESSION CONSISTS OF SIX 30-MINUTE CLASSES. Classes of 4-6 students.
ALL CLASSES HAVE AN ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE OF $40, THIS INCLUDES A T-SHIRT.
REGISTRATION CLOSES THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE SESSION BEGINS.

Introduction to water safety and skills. Minimum age is 4 years old.
The objective of the Level 1 class is to teach water safety through: front and back floating without support; rolling from front to back float; turning back to the wall; mouth and nose bubbles and fully submerging under the water. Introduction of freestyle and back stroke.

Stroke development and improvement. Students in this class MUST be comfortable submerging, being on their back, and have basic skills in arm movement and kicking.
The objective of the Level 2 class is to build upon skills learned in Level 1; introduction of body and head position, “line” in freestyle and backstroke; rhythmic breathing in freestyle; possible introduction of butterfly, breakstroke and dives.

Stroke refinement and swimming proficiency. This class is for advanced swimmers who are ready to learn the 4 competitive strokes of swimming.
The objective of the Level 3 class is to build upon skills learned in Level 2: mastery of “line”. Introduction of butterfly, breaststroke, dives, starts and turns, along with basic terminology. This class provides a gateway for joining the Beginner Warriors group of the Florida Elite swim team.
Group Lessons Policies
IF TWO CLASSES PER SESSION ARE CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER, ONE MAKE UP WILL BE PROVIDED. THE BEST WAY TO AVOID CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER IS TO REGISTER FOR MORNING SESSIONS.
Requests to move, change or cancel sessions will be considered on a case by case basis. Generally, once the session has started, no modifications will be granted and no refunds will be given. For requests made between the Wednesday that registration closes, and the Tuesday that lessons begin, we will attempt to accomodate moves/changes, refunds will not be given. For requests made prior to the registration closing, we will attempt to accomodate moves/changes, and if an accomodation can not be made, 50% refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.
