The Makos believe in rewarding swimmers based many different levels of achievement. The awards that are presented to our swimmers throughout the year are listed below.
Meet Monster Award
presented at the end of the long course season
swim meet attendance based award
Must attend at least 6 meets per year as well as a Spring and Summer championship level meet.
Spring Champs meet: Area 1 & 4, small teams champs, Flags, sr champs, or sectionals
Summer Champs meets: Flags, Sr Champs, Sectionals, Zones or Area 1 & 4
Motivational Time Awards
presented at the end of the year (August)
swimmers receive a bag tag for the highest level they achieve (B standard and higher)
based on the motivational time standards HERE
swimmers must achieve these time standards in a USA Swimming Meet (fun meets & summer league don't count)
Best Time Awards
presented at the end of the year (August)
Swimmers receive a award (TBD) if they achieve 40 best times or more during the season
Only swims at USA Swimming meets count (no fun meets or summer league meets)

High Point Award (Age Group)
Presented to the top scoring male and female swimmers in each age group (based on the age group you are in the majority of the season)
Presented to swimmers at the end of the short course season (April) and long course season (August)
High Point Award (Team)
Presented to the overall top scoring swimmer throughout the entire year. Sept 1 - Area Champs in August Presented in August
IMX Extreme Makos:
Certificate presented to swimmers achieving an IMX score for short course and long course. Certificates presented in August/September.
