1.          Registration fee: Annual Registration Fee for the full season (September 1st- August 31st) is $195, any additional swimmer will be $175.00.* If joining the team throughout the season the registration fee is as follows: if registered between May 1st and August 31st the fee will be $145.00(Summer registration only).  This fee is assessed annually and includes the annual USA Swimming athlete  registration feeinsuranceteam swim cap, team t-shirt, and team suit
Registrations are valid through August 31st of the current season year. ( For example: 2018-2019 Season)

2.         Team monthly dues: are based on swimmers’ practice group placement and selected program period (see “Fees” on the website for additional detail).

3.         Meet fees: Swim meet fees vary with each meet, will be included on your monthly invoice, and are in addition to your Team Dues. You are responsible for meet entry fees and coaches fee for every swim meet you participate. Meet entry fees must be paid 3 days prior to the swim meet and will be billed to your account on file.

* Coaches fee for away meet will be divided by the group attending the meet.

** Away meet cost applies for: Hotel, Meals, Airfare, Car Rental, Gas and Coaches per diem.

4.         Monthly invoices: invoices are generated and posted to each account on the 20th day of each month and will be processed automatically on the 1st of each month. Planet Swim LLC will send a billing summary(not an invoice) to all families. Please take the time and review the details of all charges posted during the month and let Planet Swim LLC(billing@planetswim.org) office staff know if there is any mistake with your charges. This is to allow sufficient amount of time for each family to go over all items posted, ask questions and make changes when necessary, before an automatic on-line payment is processed on the 1st day of the month. 

5.         Payment Policy:  You have an option to pay by credit/debit card or ACH but Planet Swim LLC requires that every member to add a credit card to our registration. Planet Swim Aquatics will not accept check payments starting in August of 2018 because it makes it more difficult for us to maintain budgets and plan ahead. Your payment will be automatically processed on the 1st day of every month during the duration of the contract (10 months). If your account balance is 45 days past due this will result in suspension of your swimmer(s) until the account is settled. A $25.00 late fee will be assessed if payment is not received by the third (3 rd ) day of the month.  All accounts that are 60 days past due will be sent to collection agency. Should the collections actions on your account become necessary, you will be responsible for all costs associated with collections actions including but not limited to court costs and/or legal fees. All funds owed to Planet Swim Aquatics from previous swim season must be paid in full before the swimmer is allowed to participate in the new swim season.

6.         Family discount plan: the swimmer in the highest-level program is charged the full fee. The second and each additional swimmer in the family are entitled to a 5% discount on their fees.

7.         Agreement/Early termination: Swimmers wishing to join the year-round swim team must commit to a seasonal membership plan. Membership calendar starts on September 1st ending on June 30th. Membership for the months of July and August will be optional and will not require any agreement, but will secure the swimmer’s spot for the following season. If a swimmer decides to terminate their membership agreement prior to June 30th of the current season, the parent must notify our billing administrator by e-mail at billing@planetswim.org no later than 2 days before the last business day of the month to avoid upcoming monthly dues charge. There is an early termination fee equivalent to one month of the monthly dues for every swimmer who wishes to terminate their agreement prior to the expiration date. Additionally, there will be a $25 re-activation fee for members wishing to re-activate their account prior to the start of the new season.  More information regarding membership policies is available on our website at www.planetswimaquatics.com.

8.         Convenience Fee: Planet Swim is now utilizing the Team Unify billing system for convenience. Starting August 24th with your monthly dues it will be added a 2.95% + $0.30 cents per credit card transaction or a $1.25 per ACH transaction if you choose this form of payment..

9.         Parent ResponsibilitiesTo have a successful program there must be understanding, participation, involvement, and cooperation among parents, swimmers, and coaches. Our Swim Team is a parent-supported program, and we depend on your commitment to keep the program going.  Fundraisers and other team activities including swim meets, clinics and camps provide the team with additional resources that allow keeping membership dues down while providing high quality program for our children.  In order to save team costs, we rely on our website, e-mail, and online billing to conduct team business and keep you informed, so please familiarize yourself with these tools. Please have swimmers at practice on time and pick them up promptly after practice. Most importantly be supportive and encourage your swimmers.
