St. Petersburg Aquatics college swimmers wrapped up their conference season over the last two weeks. Will Smith (Osceola HS), Florida Atlantic University, placed 5th in the 500 Free, 7th in the 400 IM and 3rd in the 1650 Free at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championship Meet. St. Petersburg Aquatics William Walker has committed to swim for the Calvin College Knights, a Division III school located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A few of the SPA college swimmers concluded their seasons this past weekend at their respective conference meets. Madison Pyhel, Hillsdale College freshman, helped contribute to her teams conference championship with her 4th place finish in the 1000 Free, 3rd in the 1650 Free, 5th in the 500 Free adn 6th in the 200 Fly. St. Petersburg Aquatics swimmer, Caleb Kravitz, has signed a Letter of Intent to swim for the University of Florida beginning in fall 2020. Caleb's family hosted a signing party at North Shore Pool to celebrate this well deserved accomplishment. Head Coach, Fred Lewis, spoke of Caleb's hard work and dedication that led to this Division I commitment and the entire SPA Senior I team, along with some of his Shorecrest high school team, was there to witness the signing and enjoy the pizza and cake provided by his family.
