Congratulations to our St. Petersburg Aquatics swimmers that represented us at the Florida Age Group Championship South Meet this past weekend! Our team finished third overall and two swimmers received high point honors: Sawyer Hansen was the 10 & under boy high point and Isabella Riva was the 11-12 girl high point winner. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic creating some scheduling problems across the country this spring, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference/Mountain East Conference Championships were held in Canton, Ohio from March 30th to April 2nd. For the second consecutive year, the Women’s title was claimed by Hillsdale College. SPA member Madison Pyhel, a sophomore at Hillsdale, made significant contributions to the victory.
