SPA swimmers were extremely successful at their 2019 conference meets.  Leading the group with some amazing performances was Robert Finke, University of Florida, swimming in the Southeastern Conference Championship Meet.  His 9th place 500 Free, 1st place in the 400 IM and a SEC record 1650 Free (14:23.01) contributed to the University of Florida men winning the meet.  He is looking good for some top seeds for the upcoming NCAA Championship Meet!  Peyton Palsha, University of Arkansas also swam well for her team at the SEC Meet with an 8th place in the 500 Free, 13th in the 400 IM and 14th in the 1650 Free.

Contributing to her team's Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, Summer Finke, North Caroline State, was 23rd in the 500 Free, 19th in the 400 IM and 5th in the 1650 Free.

At the Coastal Confererence Meet, SPA swimmers, Will Smith and Josh McQueen competed for Florida Atlantic University.  Will was 3rd in the 500 Free, 8th in the 400 IM and 3rd in the 1650 Free.  Josh finished 12th place in all of his events (500 Free, 200 Free and 200 Fly).

Hannah Brockman competed for Rollins College in the Sunshine State Conference meet and swam some best times for the season. The fact that she even was able to swim at the meet was incredible as she had what should have been "season-ending" surgery back in November and had only just returned to competition a few weeks earlier.

Leah Kunins, Brandeis University, had competed at her conference meet at the University of Chicago last weekend and swam in the 500 Free, 200 Free and 1650 Free.

Congratulations to all of these St. Petersburg Aquatics swimmers on their successful college seasons!
