SPA College Swimmer Conference Wrap-Up

St. Petersburg Aquatics college swimmers wrapped up their conference season over the last two weeks.  Will Smith (Osceola HS), Florida Atlantic University, placed 5th in the 500 Free, 7th in the 400 IM and 3rd in the 1650 Free at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championship Meet.  Joshua McQueen (Canterbury), also swimming for FAU, swam in the 200 Free and 200 Fly at that meet.  Taylor Williams (Osceola HS) swam in the 100 and 200 Fly for Florida Gulf Coast University at their conference meet.  Competing in the Ivy League Championships for the University of Pennsylvania was Matthew Dieffenthaller (Berkeley Prep) and he was 22nd in the 50 and 200 Free and 21st in the 100 Free.   Congratulations to all of these college swimmers on a job well done.

Coming up are the NCAA Division I Championships for both women and men.  Peyton Palsha (St. Pete High) will be representing the University of Arkansas in the 500 Free, 400 IM and 1650 Free.  The mens psych sheet is not yet posted, but Robert Finke (Countryside) should be representing the University of Florida in those same events.
