AUBURN, Alabama, May 4. AUBURN Assistant Swimming Coach Paul Yetter is leaving the Auburn

program to return to his club team roots after accepting a position as head coach and part-owner of

the newly-formed T2 Aquatics Club in Naples, Fla.

Prior to Auburn, Yetter coached with the North Baltimore Aquatic Club from 2001-2009, where he

assisted with coaching athletes such as Katie Hoff. Under Yetter's tutelage, Hoff participated in the

2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. During the 2007-08 season, Hoff set 11 American records in nine

different events, won three Olympic medals and twice set a long course world record in the 400m IM.

"I've enjoyed my time at Auburn and am very sad to go, but couldn't pass up this opportunity to head

T2 Aquatics," Yetter said. "I'm thankful for the opportunities given to me by Jay Jacobs and Brett Hawke. I'm grateful for the

chance to work with them as well as the staff and swimmers at Auburn."

Yetter joined Auburn in May 2009 and worked closely with the distance athletes, while also assisting in other aspects of

the program.

"We're sad to see Paul go, but are excited for his new opportunity," Auburn head coach Brett Hawke said. "We're thankful

for all that he did here at Auburn and wish him all the best."

Auburn will begin a search for an assistant coach immediately.
