We have been getting several questions lately about practice times and days. With the restrictions placed on us, we had to be very creative with scheduling to get everyone in the pool. Here are 4 ways to see our schedule from a phone, tablet, or computer. You can even "Subscribe" to our Events and Practice calendars to your devices. 1. Using your phone's browser, go to gcst.org, scroll down the page to Training Groups / Schedules and click on your child's Group box. The daily schedule can be found here....

Summer Team registration is now open. Reserve a spot for an Evaluation here. Evaluations are on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. 5 spots are available for each Wednesday evening by reservation. Details: For children ages 5 to 12. Must complete 1 length of the pool. Fee is $260 for the Summer through August 28th. Meet Fees extra. Practice is 3 days per week in June. Days and times are subject to change as Covid restrictions change. After the Evaluation, Register on the GCST website.

The GCST Summer Team starts June 1st. Here's the details: New swimmers must register for a Wednesday evening FREE evaluation. This is for children aged 5 to 12. Your child must be able to swim a length of the pool. After a successful evaluation, register on the GST website for Summer Team. The fee is $260 for the summer until August 28th. The SCP Community Pool opens Friday. Our workouts will start at 5 am. Please view the GCST Training Grid to find your child's group and time. Please view the GCST Training Policy and make sure your child knows the procedures. It is very important that we follow these guidelines. UPDATE: FGCU WILL NOT ALLOW ANY EVENTS AT THE AQUATIC CENTER UNTIL MID AUGUST AT THE EARLIEST. The Lee County / FGCU Aquatic Center will remained closed with no events taking place until after July 1st. This includes swim meets, and swim camps. Cancelled GCST swim meets are the May Spring Open, and June Summer Open.

Dear USA Swimming members, As we continue to monitor the changes of this global pandemic, assess the lifting of restrictions across the country and prioritize the health and safety of our members, we are also optimistically planning for our return to competition. Given the varying timelines expected for a return to training, we have made the decision to modify our upcoming events schedule. National events in July and early August, which include USA Swimming Sectionals, Futures and the Speedo Summer Championships, will be canceled in order to refocus our efforts...

FLAGS: GCST finished the meet in 14th place overall, with our Boys finishing 9th in team standings. Addison Scire made a first time Sectional q-time in the 1000 Free.
