Mark Medley
Head Coach 

Mark is a veteran in the water, having swum at Georgia State where he held school records in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle.  As a senior, he was elected team captain.  He then served as Graduate Assistant Coach of the team while in graduate school. 

Mark has 17 years of experience coaching summer league teams and 6 seasons as the coach at Grayson High School.  He has been an integral part of swimming at Summit Chase for many years. He enthusiastically shares his love of the sport through coaching and is dedicated to inspiring the same passion in his swimmers.

Mark received his BBA in Marketing and MBA in Finance degrees from Georgia State University.  Afterward, he worked in various corporate roles in the insurance industry for over 35 years and has recently retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance.  Mark is married to wife Cheryl and together they have three children: Lauren, Mitchell, and Paige.  Mitchell and Paige are Summit Swimming alumni.
