SeaWolves Swim Team Bring Home 6 Top Trophies at Recent Meet

Local swimmers with the SeaWolves swim team (training in the Gordon college pool) bring home high point trophies from recent swim meet. At the Troup County swim meet in La Grange Georgia recently Asher Cooper, Miles Stansberry, Alex White, Mallory Tilson and Mallorie Moore all brought home trophies for top points in their age categories. In the girls 9-10 year old class, Mallorie placed 3rd overall and finished 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 2nd in her individual events. Asher Cooper finished 1st in all of his 9-10 boys events and the 1st place trophy. In the 11-12 boys category, Miles Stansberry was 1st in 3 of his events and 2nd in the forth event for the meet, giving him the 1st place trophy overall. Mallory Tilson finished 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 2nd in her events with 2nd place overall for the girls 15-18 category. Katie Ward finished 1st in all of her events and 1 st overall. Her older sister Liz Ward placed 4th, 4th, and 5th in her events. Seventeen year old Alex White finished 1st overall with 3 first place finishes and a second place event. Other swimmers included Lawson Stansberry finishing 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd in her events for 9-10 girls. Alice Cowden was 5th, 7th, 7th, and 9th place in her events for 11-12 girls. The newest member of the SeaWolves is 8 year old Raegan Taylor finishing 8th, 12th, and 14th in her events. Overall the team finished 6th overall for the meet and brought home 6 top 3 trophies.
