Tidal Wave swimmers were busy over the last two weekends. Our swimmers competed in three meets: The US Open, SC Senior States, and the TWS Invite. We had some great performances from swimmers of all ages. Connor Haigh led the team with three new team records (senior 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM). Better than 100 Tidal Wave swimmers competed at the IMX invite over the weekend. Our swimmers looked great! Time and again, swimmers had significant time drops, and royal blue caps led heats. Six Tidal Wave team records were broken over the weekend at the LC Senior State Championships. Connor Haigh led the team, breaking three team records (100 & 200 breast, and 400 IM). His breaststroke swims also garnered him US Open cuts for December! And, he won his first senior state title capturing the 200 breast!!! Tidal Wave swimmers competed at Mountain View in the Stu Hixon Invite and at UGA in the Bulldog Grand Slam.  Both venues saw our swimmers produce strong results.  In fact, three swimmers beat previous team records!  Bennett Baer and Jonathan Stephens battled in the 11-12 boys 800 free, with Bennett touching just two seconds ahead of Jonathan and securing a new team record!  Jonathan also beat the previous team record by several seconds.  Connor Haigh  continued to improve upon his own team records in the Senior breaststrokes, finishing the 100...

Tidal Wave swimmers were busy over the weekend.  A group of just over 20 swimmers traveled to Pensacola, FL to swim at the Tom Lalor Invite at the University of West Florida.  Another group of nearly 40 swam at the Betsy Dunbar at GA Tech.  Six Tidal Wave swimmers recorded one team record and 13 new Tidal Wave All-time Top 10 swims.  John Jones became our fastest ever 8 & under boy 50 breaststroker, recording a time of 52.83.!  Bennett Baer and Noah Smith led the team with 4 new...

The long course is off to a great start.  After three meets spanning two weekends of competition, Tidal Wave swimmers have established two new team records and 28 new All-time Tidal Wave Top 10 swims (Two swims were repeated).  Connor Haigh (Along with Camryn Lewis and  Billy Rothery), while swimming along with some of the world’s best swimmers at the Atlanta Classic, set team records in both senior breaststrokes.   Connor’s times of 1:07.07 and 2:25.79, were achieved in the 100 and 200 breast, respectively.  Allie Byerly and Jonathan Borden have...

Tidal Wave swimmers competed in two meets last week, the 2019 NCSA Junior Nationals and the 2019 Northern Divisional Championships.  Our three representatives at NCSAs; Rylee Moss, Daniel Clark, and Connor Haigh, swam very well.  Rylee and Daniel improved swims on the Tidal Wave All-time Top 10 list.  The 2019 Northern Divisional Championship was a great success for Tidal Wave!  Time and again our swimmers achieved lifetime best swims, and had a great time doing it!  The team finished second, behind Lifetime Fitness.  So many team members contributed to our...

This past weekend 16 Tidal Wave swimmers traveled to Knoxville for the Southern Premier championships. It turned out to be a Nationally covered competition with some of the fastest swimming of the year. Our swimmers made the most of their opportunities.
