This past weekend 16 Tidal Wave swimmers traveled to Knoxville for the Southern Premier championships. It turned out to be a Nationally covered competition with some of the fastest swimming of the year. Our swimmers made the most of their opportunities. Some of the highlights were three new team records. The Senior Boys 400 IM record was set by Daniel Clark.  Connor Haigh set both the 200 IM and 200 Breaststroke Senior boys records. As a group, the boys (Daniel Clark, Carson Maggio, Connor Haigh & Seth Carden) met the two-year goal of breaking 7 minutes in the 800 Freestyle relay! Individual swimmers who earned points or Senior Finals Swims (top 32) were:

Allie Byerly: 4th-100 Free, 5th-100 Fly, 7th-50 Fly, 7th-50 Back & 7th-200 IM; Noah Smith: 14th-200 Breast, 15th- 50 Free & 16th- 100 Breast; Jonathan Stephens: 10th-500 Free; Jonathan Borden 12th-500 Free; Gracie Byerly: 14th- 200 Fly; Rylee Moss: 22nd- 200 Fly; Connor Haigh: 23rd- 200 Breast & 29th- 200 IM; Carson Maggio: 27th- 1650 Free.
