2019 NCSA Junior Nationals and Northern Divisional re-cap

Tidal Wave swimmers competed in two meets last week, the 2019 NCSA Junior Nationals and the 2019 Northern Divisional Championships.  Our three representatives at NCSAs; Rylee Moss, Daniel Clark, and Connor Haigh, swam very well.  Rylee and Daniel improved swims on the Tidal Wave All-time Top 10 list.  The 2019 Northern Divisional Championship was a great success for Tidal Wave!  Time and again our swimmers achieved lifetime best swims, and had a great time doing it!  The team finished second, behind Lifetime Fitness.  So many team members contributed to our podium finish, too many to list, and they should all be proud.   Our team trophy will spend time at both Amberton and Bentwater in the coming weeks.  Also, Dane Charleston achieved his first NCSA Junior National time standard in the 200 back!  In fact, eight swimmers achieved new Tidal Wave Top 10 swims.  A full list of new Tidal Wave All-time Top 10 swims follows:

8 & Under:  John Jones:  25 breast – 10th (23.06); 11-12:  Allie Byerly:  50 free – 6th (25.97), 100 free – 4th (55.84), 1650 free – 7th (19:46.63), 100 IM – 7th (1:04.11); Isabella Klinefelter:  50 back – T8th (29.92); Jonathan Borden:  100 free – 10th (58.72), 200 free – 6th (2:04.70), 500 free – 9th (5:42.09), 1650 free – 5th (20:11.84); Jonathan Stephens:  200 free – 8th (2:06.64), 500 free – 3rd (5:34.43), 1650 free – 3rd (19:39.37); Christopher Voge:  1650 free – 7th (21:34.35); 13-14:  Noah Smith:  50 free – 3rd (23.22), 100 free – 4th (51.07); Senior:  Rylee Moss:  200 fly – 2nd (2:05.45); Dane Charleston:  200 back – 4th (1:54.36); Daniel Clark:  500 free – 3rd (4:39.50).  Great job swimmers!
