High School States and Super B 10 & Under Re-cap

Tidal Wave swimmers competed in the GHSA State Championships at GA Tech and our 10 & unders swam in the Super B meet at Mountain View over the weekend, with much success.   Swimmers accomplished a new state title, three team records, a new state qualifier, and 10 new Tidal Wave All-time top 10 times! 

Connor Haigh continued his strong season winning the 7A state title in the 100 breaststroke!!!  His time of 55.17 bested his own team record by over a second and a half!  Connor found himself on the podium again in the 200 IM, breaking his own team record with a 1:50.58!  Camryn Lewis broke her own team record in the 50 free, with a time of 24.02!  Nikolay Chernev added his name to the 14 & under state team list, qualifying in the 100 & 200 freestyles.  Additionally, the following swims qualified for the Tidal Wave All-time Top 10 list:

8 & Under:  Morgan DeLoatch:  200 free – 10th (3:29.95); 13-14:  Gracie Byerly:  50 free – 9th (25.55), 100 back – 5th (59.73), 100 fly – 3rd (57.98); Senior:  Camryn Lewis:  50 free – 1st (24.02); Dane Charleston:  100 free – 9th (47.96), 200 IM – 5th (1:55.84); Connor Haigh:  100 breast – 1st (55.17), 200 IM – 1st (1:50.58); Luke Renier:  100 fly – 8th (51.79).  Great job swimmers!!!
