2021 GA LC Senior State recap

Eleven Tidal Wave Swimmers went to Athens, and swam in the LC Senior State Championships at UGA last weekend.  Four new team records were established! Isabella Klinefelter broke the 13-14 girls 50 free (27.60) and 100 fly (1:03.84)!  Connor Haigh improved both of his team records in the breaststroke events: 1:04.37 and 2:18.54 in the 100 & 200, respectively.! Gracie Byerly tallied the most new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims with five!  And, Luke Renier qualified for Futures for the first time!

It was a strong weekend of swimming.  Below is a full list of new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims:

13-14:  Isabella Klinefelter:  50 free-1st (27.60), 100 back-4th (1:08.64), 100 fly-1st (1:03.84); Senior:  Gracie Byerly:  100 back-8th (1:11.54), 200 back-6th (2:32.35), 100 fly-3rd (1:05.38), 200 fly-4th (2:25.80), 200 IM-9th (2:33.97); Kayla Wright:  200 free-2nd (2:13.31), 400 free-4th (4:40.27); Connor Haigh:  100 breast-1st (1:04.37), 200 breast-1st (2:18.54); Luke Renier:  50 free-9th (25.40), 100 free-7th (54.21), 200 free-4th (1:57.16), 100 fly-9th (1:00.07).  Great job swimmers!
