Hayden Grabs 400 Freestyle Olympic Trials Cut & Olivia Qualifies for Summer Junior Nationals

Richard Boucher

Hayden grabbed her 2nd Olympic Trials Qualifying Time tonight, at the Speedo Sectional Championship Series in the 400 Freestyle

The Meet is being offered in College Station, TX and is run as a Short Course Yards Meet in the Preliminary Session and a Long Course Meters Meet in the Finals Session, so athletes can attain Olympic Trial Cut- Times.

Hayden embraced this chance and did JUST THAT!  Swimming a 4:42.74 in the 500 Freestyle during the morning's Preliminary Session, then swimming to a 4:14.91 in the 400 Free at Finals which was not only an Olympic Trials Cut, but also a FLEET Open Team Record, knocking ex- Olympian Camille Adams off the Team Record Board

Olivia added to the evening's excitement for FLEET, grabbing her 1st Summer Junior Nationals Time in the 200 Butterfly (She had the Winter Junior National Time Standard, but better this swim tonight)

Congratulations go out to both of these young ladies and we look forward to seeing more GREAT swims from our entire FLEET Squad this weekend
