1. If you haven’t heard of American Swimming Coaches Association “ASCA” yet please review their program. They offer clinics with some of the top coaches around the world to talk and share their knowledge. This program is a yearly membership that cost around $88 per year.  ASCA provides a certificate for education and coaching achievement.

• ASCA Level 3 The Planning and Execution of Training for swimmer of All Ages
• John Leonard’s ‘s Simple Progressions for Stroke Development

1. International Swim coaches Association “ISCA” is another program you should review. They offer in depth education the first program is called ISCA Core Education.   ISCA does a yearly talk with some of the Top coaches around the world. The program is a yearly membership that cost around $75 per year.

1. Ritter Sports Performance is another swim dedicated educational recourses with a lot of coach’s college coaches. This might not apply to a lot of age group swimming however it will give you some knowledge to what coaches at the highest level will be looking forward to and working on.

1. One of the best ways to learn more about swimming is finding a mentor. Find someone you can ask question and learn from. There are a lot of great coaches here in the gulf and a lot of coaches willing to share. If you are looking for someone to help you learn or understand more about swimming please reach out to any of the Club Development Committee member to help you out.
