Welcome!

We are excited you’ve decided to become a USA Swimming official.  Becoming an official is a great way to get more involved with the sport of swimming.  There’s no better way to watch a meet than from right on the deck.  You will have fun at meets and you will meet great new people along the way.

Swimming officiating is a step-based, certified process.  You are about to take the first step by becoming a Stroke & Turn official.  We have created this page, which contains multiple links, with all the steps you need to register through to becoming a Qualified Stroke & Turn official.
