Please help us welcome our new Head Coach, Mr. Brian Pearson!!!

Raised in a swimming family, Coach Pearson began his 42-year career in swimming at the age of four.  He has spent 25 as an athlete (club, college, & masters) and 37 as a coach (college, club, high school & summer league).

Coach Pearson first day will be Monday, May 16th with Jr and Sr groups.

Coach Pearson’s coaching accomplishments:

  • 73 NCAA  qualifiers. 1999-2019. (div ii & iii)
  • 20 national “B” qualifiers, 35 events, 7 national participants 2012. (CMU)
  • 1203 school records (101 Colorado College, 943 Colorado Mesa, 159 Colorado State-
  • Pueblo).
  • Coached Nine All-Americans (2001, 2004, 2006, 2011 & 2012).
  • 104 events won at Conference Championships.
  • Colorado Mesa new program 2006, Nations Largest DII Team (28 women/43 men) 2012.
  • Colorado State University-Pueblo new program 2014.
  • American Swimming Coaches Association/College Swimming Coaches Association of
  • America.
  • Coaching Excellence Award recipient (2001, 2004, 2006, 2011, and 2012).
  • ASCA Level V equivalent.
