Future Champions

1 practice/week

(Learn-to-Dive Lessons)

  • Recommended ages 9&Under.
  • The goal of the learn-to-dive program is to provide the community with an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of diving as well as to provide a safe environment for new divers to improve their conditioning, confidence and self-esteem.
  • The program offers a proven series of successful techniques that teach a progression of basic skills. 
  • Each class is designed to enhance balance/flexibility, strength and spatial awareness while learning the basic elements of the sport of diving.  
  • 1 practice per week. 1 hour per practice.  Monday or Wednesday
  • Annual Team Registration Fee of $75
  • Annual AAU Registration Fee of $14

 

Novice

$130/month

2 practices/week

  • Recommended ages 10&Over
  • Novice diving is for divers who have been identified by our coaching staff to have the skills and maturity necessary to train longer in order to advance in the sport. 
  • After showing sufficient adequacy in jumps and entry position on 1 meter, the Novice group works on backward entries as well as learning the proper fundamentals to perform a Front dive and Inward dive. Jumps from 3 meter are introduced in this group as well.
  • Novice divers focus on how to use the diving board more efficiently and how to perform dives and somersaults.
  • 2 practices per week . 1 hour per practice. Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
  • Annual Team Registration Fee of $75
  • Annual AAU Registration Fee of $14

 

 

Intermediate

$175/month

3 practices/week

  • Recommended ages 12&Over.
  • Intermediate diving is for those who have been evaluated by our coaching staff and have achieved the basic skills, dives, and work ethic necessary to progress on to the team. 
  • On the Intermediate team the divers work on Front dive and Inward dive on 1 meter & 3 meter, and are introduced to Back dive & Reverse dive on 1 meter.
  • Somersaulting technique is progressed on 1 meter and 3 meter in all directions. 
  • 3 practices per week. Monday/Wednesday/Saturday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday
  • Annual Team Registration Fee of $75

Junior Olympic

$225/month

5 practices/week

  • Recommended ages 12&Over.
  • Junior Olympic is for advanced divers who have been evaluated by our coaching staff and have mastered the basic skills, dives, and work ethic necessary to progress on to the team.  
  • We begin to focus on learning more complex dives and building upon the fundamentals that have been taught up until this point.   
  • Divers will be working towards their JO 1m and 3m lists.
  • 4 practices per week. 2 hours per practice. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday
  • Annual Team Registration Fee of $75
  • Annual AAU Registration Fee of $14
