Tomball Area Swim Club is currently looking for Learn-to-Swim Instructors for our swim lessons program.

Job Description: Swim Lessons Instructor

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Provide competent, safe instruction using the skill development plan established by our team.

Plan and effectively organize class time for maximum practice. 

Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement. 

Enjoy working with children of all ages.

Provide consistency in instruction by working each assigned period. 

 

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Facilitate the level-up process with the Head Age Group Coach.

Promote good public relations by talking with parents before and after class, not during. 

Dress appropriately in uniform for all classes. 

Turn in required paperwork.

Requirements: 

Ability to instruct swimming lessons 

Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills 

Strong problem-solving skills 

Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision 

Available to work Monday-Friday and some weekends

Must pass background examination

Must complete required training courses.

Compensation: 

$12/hour
