The Sharks Swim School in partnership with the USA Swimming Foundation is able to provide Adaptive Aquatics swim lessons for the 2022 summer. The Sharks coaching staff has undergone additional training through the Autism Swims foundation and is proud to be able to provide the program.
Through a USA Swimming Foundation grant, 60 swimmers, up 43% from the 42 swimmers last summer, will be able to participate in deeply discounted private lessons at Magnolia Creek this summer. There is an application for the scholarship and families will be notified if their child qualifies.
This summer, we are offering five two-week sessions, 8 private lessons (Tuesday - Thursday) at Magnolia Creek's Spring Canyon Pool,
Session 1 - Tuesday, May 31, 2022 - Friday, June 10, 2022,
Session 2 - Tuesday, June 14, 2022 - Friday, June 24, 2022,
Session 3 - Tuesday, June 28, 2022 - Friday, July 8, 2022,
Session 4 - Tuesday, July 12, 2022 - Friday, July 22, 2022,
Session 5 - Tuesday, July 26, 2022 - Friday, July August 5, 2022,
for 30-minute sessions, starting at 12:00 - 12:30 PM, 12:30 - 1:00 PM, 1:00 - 1:30 PM, and 1:30 - 2:00 PM.
Classes will run for 2 weeks, 4 days in a row each week. The cost of the session is $100 to be invoiced. Swimmers can sign up for 1 session of 8 private lessons per scholarship. Each swimmer in the program will receive a Sharks swag bag.
