ASC had 17 swimmers participating in the 18th Annual Bill Smith Invitational this past weekend at the Mark K Takai VMAC pool.  We had 2 great days of competition at the AA level and above for our swimmers and they performed spectacularly. We are proud of them all! Congratulations to Kai Griley, who made the podium by placing  2nd in the 13-14-year-old Male division at the 48th Annual Waikiki Rough Water Swim, held yesterday, September 4, 2017.  He covered the 2.4-mile course in 1:09:05. Overall Kai was 71st out of 684 swimmers. Way to go Kai! 

Swim Families - Here's a recap from Coach Barbara. CONGRATULATIONS to the 9 swimmers competing at JAGS over the past weekend. July 17, 2017 ASC Swim Fans, The 19 swimmers at States Champs experienced tremendous success. As a team the level of competitiveness is increasing, as documented by the setting of  32 club records by 11 swimmers.  The longest standing record to be broken was set in 1993 by one of the first ASC members, Eric Bollinger.  ASC earned a 8th place overall amongst the 26 teams competing. Swim Friends - Lot's of great performances so far at the state meet. Jakob Honda has led the charge with his win in the 50m Butterfly.  Congratulations to all the ASC swimmers who competed in the King's Swim today, July 4, 2017, down at the Kona Pier. Brock Imonen led the charge with a 1st place Overall and Taylor Doherty was 3rd Overall in the female division. Great effort ASC! Swim Friends - What a great day it was at the Hapuna Beach yesterday. ASC (and AMST) swimmers and family members were awesome in the 400m Keiki race and the 1mile (Hapuna Mile) events. A special congratulations to Beaudin (400m), Brock (1st Overall/1st Male) and Taylor (1st Female/4th Overall).
