Academy Swim Club members currently in competing in college   Dear Academy Swim Club Families, Our team presently has four members competing in college (Taylor Doherty, Kira Parker, Amelia Snyder, and Karly Noetzel).  Karly was able to speak to the Bronze, Silver and Gold groups on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, and answer their questions about what it was like swimming in college. Though there were many questions, one Bronze swimmer asked her to describe a typical day. Karly responded with, “… Wake up at 4:30 am be at practice for...

Swim Friends - Coach Barbara has provided us with a very thorough breakdown of the successful weekend. The JAG Championships are designed for AA and A swimmers to experience competition within their time standards at a developmental championship meet.  The eight swimmers supported each other and grew as individuals; as they experienced success, faced their fears and had challenges. Parents were tremendous in providing positive energy and encouragement for all of the ASC swimmers.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ariana who turned 12 on Sunday. Kekai (High Point 11-12 Boys): 1st:  50 Free ...

Congratulations to the swimmers who represented ASC this week! Members of the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Junior, and the Senior group were all wonderful to watch as they competed in their races. I loved it. Call me nostalgic but I can remember when we only had 4 kids competing at this meet. We've come a long way and we owe it to our fabulous swimmers, coaches, and parents who believe in our program. What struck me most this weekend, was the notion that practicing hard produces results.  Also, that CHALLENGING oneself is a healthy risk...
