HOW TO JOIN

Maui Dolphins Swim Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) parent board USA-Swimming club.
We have locations on Maui Upcountry (Pukalani Pool), Molokai,and Lanai.

We have two seasons per year:
Short Course (25yd) Season (September-February) and
Long Course (50m) Season (March-August)
We hold registration events the first week of each season; but swimmers can join mid-season, too.
 

Registration has moved to an online system called SWIMS. Once your assessment is complete, the link to register through USA Swimming will be given to you. USA Swimming Registration is $90 for the 2024 Calender Year.

 

Wednesday Assessments: Every first and third Wednesday of the month, we will hold assessment days if your child is interested in joining. These assessments take place from 5:00 to 5:30 PM with Coach Jen. 

If your child can swim a length of the pool, we'll assess them to place in the right level group. If your child is age 5 or older, not afraid in 3½-4 ft of water (teaching pool depth) where they can touch bottom, and can blow bubbles in the water ... consider Intro to Swim Team.

SEASONAL DUES:

Cash, checks made payable to “MDSC”, or by debit card via Venmo @ MauiDolphins-SwimClub. Fees & Forms are due at the start of the season before getting in the water.

  • MDSC Swim Team dues of $400 per swimmer per season. This fee covers all practices (up to five a week), swim meet entry fees, and team events for the entire season (five 1/2 months).  Additional siblings are $300. Dues pay the expenses for club operations. Dues are pro-rated ONLY for NEW swimmers joining after the season's registration date.

Volunteer Obligations: Your family is joining a club run by volunteer board members. Part of our commitment requires your help with club operations (fundraising, committees, desk monitors, etc). MDSC is part of the Maui Age Group Swimming Association (MAGSA). Parents are also asked to help with MAGSA events – even if your swimmer is not competing.

 

Donate
MDSC is a 501(c)(3), which means that donations beyond the seasonal dues are tax deductible. If you are willing or able to make a donation, please speak with a member of the Board of Directors.
