SKA Summer Practice Schedule June 3rd - July 17th. Summer is great time to train! Starting June 3rd we will change the morning swim schedule. The afternoons will remain the same. Morning practice for Gold, Juniors and Seniors will be 7-9am on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Tuesday and Thursday will be 6:30-9am and will be long course. Saturday will continue to be the same.7:30-10am and clinics 10-11am. Afternoons will continue to be the same for all groups. Kauai Klassic meet sign up deadline is March 25th. Come on guys time to sign up! I have talked to many who have said they are swimming but haven't signed up. Happy Spring Break!  Practice schedule will not change in the afternoon. The only change is Morning Workouts on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be 7:15-8:45. Saturday workout for gold and up will be LCM 7:30-10am. Clinic is TBD. The Canadians come mid week and will be here for the Kauai Klassic. Please welcome Mike Meldrum and his team Kilarney! Congratulations to Akira Williams for winning this award! As a free diving spear fisherman he has developed his breath holding ability to the point that during every 50 Freestyle Sprint Race he never takes a breath! Akira we are so proud of you!

I want to Welcome Jenna Butke to our coaching staff! She has been involved in aquatics for many years. She started teaching when she was 14 years old. She has been studying Marine Biology, leading underwater recreational adventures and teaching with the Hawaii Aquatics Foundation Aquatic Safety Program 2nd grade swim lessons.  It was great to have Olympic Champion Anthony Ervin with us this past weekend. We learned about how to use every part of our bodies to move ourselves through the water with speed and efficiency.
