I want to Welcome Jenna Butke to our coaching staff! She has been involved in aquatics for many years. She started teaching when she was 14 years old. She has been studying Marine Biology, leading underwater recreational adventures and teaching with the Hawaii Aquatics Foundation Aquatic Safety Program 2nd grade swim lessons. She will be working with Kailee with the Bronze and Silver groups.

SKA swimmers swam well at High School states. Akira Williams was 6th in the 50 free and 4th in the 100 Free. He was also part of the Mens 400 Free relay that included Ryden Williams, Kai Norman, and Luke Roberts. They dropped 6 seconds and medaled in finals for 8th place.

Other SKA swimmers at the meet were Alana Cayabyab, Julia Safford, Asha McGinnis, Destrey Shibuya, Maddie Hoesel, Kai Mottley, and Tyler Tanaka. Other swimmers who have swum with SKA are Mailia Splittstoesser, Hayley Kaeo, Mia Reese, James Pratt, Henry Scherer, and Olivia Luktivich and swam well at the state meet.

We are working our way through winter. Sign up for the next meet on February 23rd.  If you are going to the Sparky meet in Hilo, please check with Coaches Kailee or Curt.
