Staff, Parent / Guardian & Student Protocols, Guidelines and Requirements -

  1. These lessons, due to COVID 19 protocols of distancing, will ONLY be for students who are already “water safe” (more advanced than beginner). IF a student is deemed to be below this level, they will be removed from the current program and NO REFUND will be given.

  2. ONLY staff & students are allowed to enter the Aquatic Center.

  3. Lessons will be Livestreamed on the DASH website.

  4. Parent / Guardian & student, wearing masks, will wait outside MAIN (A) entrance to Aquatic Center, or in their vehicle if inclement weather, socially distanced from others in line.

  5. Students’ temperature will be taken at time of entry, if above 100.2 they will be denied access. Temperature screening will begin 10 minutes prior to the start of the lesson. Lesson fees WILL NOT be refunded.

  6. Hand sanitizer will be used upon entry for all students & staff.

  7. Masks will be worn by students & staff, except when in the water / during lesson, at all times while waiting at entrance and when inside the Aquatic Center.

  8. All students will be assigned a laundry basket and “spot on the wall” when entering the facility. They will remain at this spot until directed to remove their mask and proceed to their lesson location in the pool.

  9. Following completion of the lesson, students will return to their laundry basket location to dry and dress, then be led by an instructor through the spectator area of the Aquatic Center, to where they can see their Parent/Guardian vehicle (please park in front of Aquatic Center-EVENT Entrance hallway windows) for pick-up and they will exit only at that time. Pick-up MUST be ON-TIME!!

  10. Showering / changing clothes is NOT ALLOWED at the Aquatic Center. Bathrooms ARE available, but to reduce potential exposure, PLEASE try to eliminate usage by taking care of this at home prior to arrival.

  11. Staff temperatures will be taken upon arrival, each day. If above 100.2, they will be sent home.

  12. In the event of a student or staff COVID 19 infection, determination of interaction will dictate whether no, some or all lessons are canceled AND if a refund is warranted.
