Welcome to the Johnston Blaze Swim Club Electronic Registration platform for our upcoming swim season! We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more. Here are a few housekeeping items to prepare for the season:


Parent Meeting: Sunday August 29th at 4 pm. Please come out and learn all about the team, you will receive order forms, season calendar, T-shirts, and more! 


If you are new to Blaze, a swim test is required and we have two tryout dates for this season Saturday August 14th starting at 10am and Tuesday August 17th starting at 6:30 pm. If you are registering after the season has started, you will need to email the Head Coach for a swim test to be approved.


Equipment needs: All teams have different equipment needs and at the basic level require speedo branded: cap, goggles, 1-piece competitive swim suit, or jammers. Equipment requirements are handed out at the parent meeting from the head coach. Swimsuits are required to keep the team in unison and are available for purchase at Elsmore. We will have order forms as well at the parent meeting.


Expectations: All expectations can be found in our handbook and will be given to your swimmer at the parent meeting as well as the first day of practice. Parents will need to sign and return to the aquatics office or send via email.


Volunteer/officials: We are in dire need as a club to get our parents involved. Our meets are able to run more smoothly when our parents step up and help make it possible.no experience is required. If you become an official, we cover the expenses and you will need to pay for the background check.


Anchor Club: We meet monthly and discuss an array of things from meets, plan activities, awards, team outings, and etc. No experience needed to join, but we are looking for committed parents with enthusiasm to help create an aweswim experience for our team.


Cancellation: You are required to submit a 30-day cancellation notice into the Aquatics office if you choose to finish the season early. Those can be found on the website under season information or grab one in the Aquatics office.


Meets/practice Schedule: Can be found on our website and we hand out a paper copy at the parents meeting. Please understand this is a competitive team and we expect swimmers to be at the meets. This is what they have been practicing for! If you need help signing up for a meet, please reach out to the head coach or anchor club member for assistance.


Team outings/Volunteer: We encourage all families to let their swimmers be involved and get to know their teammates. Teams are better together and outings help bring unison.


Team Communication: We use the Bandapp (Green lower case b)for all immediate communication and updates. We also use TeamUnify for our weekly emails and to get out team news. Please follow our social media pages and feel free to share some fun swimming moments. We can share the invites to the platforms if you are having trouble accessing it.
