The Rock Island County Swim Club is a competitive swim club that is affiliated with the USA Swimming and Illinois Swimming organizations.  In order to join, a swimmer must be comfortable in the water, and should be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) freestyle.
We have four practice groups - from the beginners group to the most advanced group - Beluga, Bronze, Silver and Gold.  Practices for Beluga, Bronze and Silver are not mandatory, but the more often you attend, the better the chances for developing faster times.  The main emphasis during practice is on stroke development and proper techniques while having fun!
In order to join the club you must be a member of the United States Swimming Association which is $77 per calendar year.  Additionally, we have practice fees for the 24 week session, which may either be paid monthly or for the entire season.  All new swimmers are invited to participate in practices for one week at no charge.
If you have any questions, please contact the Club President, Jason Roessler at [email protected] or the Club Treasurer at [email protected]
