Christmas Training

Our most challenging two weeks of the year are approaching! Christmas training this year will be a little bit different; with where Christmas and New Year’s fall on the calendar, and the offset school schedules between Washington and Idaho, we are changing things up. Christmas training will run during normal practices December 19-23. Then we will have longer practices on a special schedule December 26-31 for Jr/SR squads, with C/B/A holding afternoon practices only from the 27-30. This will give our swimmers time to recover before the WA Open and Lewiston meets in mid-January! The full schedule and more information is here.

Practice Focus

We have one more slightly shortened training week this week, with the water polo tournament Friday and Saturday and the holiday cruise tonight. We’ll be giving our Junior and Senior squads their toughest workouts to date, focusing on aerobic endurance sets all week as we ramp up to Christmas training in a few weeks, with A squad experiencing some shortened versions of some of those sets! C and B will have a big week of kicking, with plenty of legs set focusing on pushing a lot of water.
