SWAT October Fall Challenge

Attached is the timeline for this weekend. Remember: AM session is 10& under and 11-12 BOYS, Warm-up begins at 8am and the afternoon session is 11-22 GIRLS and 13& over swimmers, Warm-up begins at 11:30am.

Timeline/Warm-up Guidelines:

Parents, please make sure your swimmers is on time and ready for warm-up. It is much easier for the 12 & Under swimmers to warm-up arrive in their suits.

The Timeline is attached. If you see that your swimmer is racing later in the session, Coaches still expect every athlete to be a part of warm-up. In the past we have had teammates that arrived late to the meet because parents did not understand the value of warming up before competition. Those swimmers were ultimately unprepared to race and underperformed. Also, when it comes time for relays Coaches will not place a swimmer on a Relay if they are not at Warm-up (unless prearranged/prior notice is given). If you kknow that your swimmer will be late to teh meet because of a prior engagement Please inform your swimmer's coach ahead of time.

Whitworth University Team will be practicing on Saturday morning before the meet until just before our warm-up time.

Parents:

1. Please do not enter the pool area before 8:00AM.

2. Have the signed Informed Consent form (in the heat sheet) signed and ready to hand in (if you have not yet emailed it).

3. Please have your swimmers in the morning session arrive to warm-ups in their suit. This would help to relieve overcrowding in the locker rooms prior to warm-ups as college kids are leaving and swim meet swimmers are arriving.

Thank you,
