Vandal Invite Meet Results

This past weekend SWAT sent 19 athletes to the Vandal Invite in Moscow, ID. This meet was the midseason Championshs for our Senior Level Swimmers. This was a Senior Team Travel meet and an excellent experience for our athletes. SWAT Won 1st Place in the Girl’s Team Division with the most points scored, Franzi Djatej came away with Women’s High Point Award scoring the most pints in the 18 & under division and Bryson Hill achieved his first Sectional Qualifying Time in the 1650 Freestyle (17:03.96).

 Congratulations swimmers, we had some outstanding performances last weekend, we hope everyone had fun.

Winter Invite This Weekend!

This is the midseason Championship Meet for all swimmers who have not yet qualified for the Vandal Invite or the Wa. State Championships.

11 & Over Swimmers Compete in the Championship Prelims/Finals format. 10 & Under swimmers compete as Timed Finals after the prelims sessions on Saturday and Sunday. This is the first chance for many of our athletes to experience a Prelims/Finals meet. The Top 6 Swimmers in each age group return at night to race for the Top spot in each event.   

Warm Up Times:

Friday, December 9

  • Timed Finals, All Ages: Warm-up @ 5:00pm

Saturday, December 10, 2022

  • Prelims (11 & Over):   Warm-up @ 8:45am
  • 10 & Under Timed Finals:       Warm-up: Immediately following Prelims (Timeline TBA)
  • Finals (11 & Over):      Warm-up @ 4:45pm                             

Sunday, December 11, 2022

  • Prelims (11 & Over):   Warm-ups @ 7:30am
  • 10 & Under Timed Finals: Warm-up: Immediately Following Prelims (TBA)
  • Finals (11 & Over):      Warm-up @ 3:45pm

USA Swimming Junior Nationals

This weekend Jena Kistler will be traveling to Austin, TX for the USA Swimming Junior Nationals to take on the fastest 18 & Under Swimmers in the country. Jr. Nationals is the qualifying step before US Nationals and the US Open. This year Jena will be the only athlete in attendance from Spokane and one of only 5 athletes in the IES attending the meet. Have Fun Jena!
